01In short
The marketing site (dialgem.com) sets no cookies and uses no advertising, analytics or tracking scripts. The Dialgem console (app.dialgem.com) sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in, and nothing else.
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, we do not show a cookie banner: consent is not required for them under the UK PECR or the EU ePrivacy Directive. If that changes, we will add a banner and a choice before setting anything else.
02What the console sets
| Purpose | Type | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
dialgem_session — holds the short-lived access token that keeps you signed in | First-party, strictly necessary | Up to 30 days, or until you sign out |
| Refresh cookie — renews the session without asking you to sign in again; set by our API and unreadable by page scripts | First-party, strictly necessary, HttpOnly | About 30 days, or until you sign out |
| Browser local storage for sign-in state and editor convenience (for example a remembered setting) | First-party, strictly necessary or functionality | Until you clear it |
If you sign in with a social account, that provider sets its own cookies on its own pages under its own policy.
03Your control
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the console will not work without its session cookie. Questions go to privacy@dialgem.com; see our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data generally.
